ROCK thru to your full potential

RESPECT

Do you want amazing success? Then know, to the depth of your being, that you are amazing. If you want 50% of your dreams to materialize, know that you are only half amazing.

Apply it

Our achievements are limited to the level at which we believe our value. A study of athletes found that positive self-talk was the greatest predictor of success compared to three other types of self-talk (negative, instructional, and motivational.)

OWNERSHIP

To exceed beyond what you think you are capable of
set your sights higher than your fears.

Apply it

Write down something that you’d like to achieve at the top of a piece of paper. Underneath, list of all of the reasons that are holding you back, one below the next. Picture each of these reasons as rungs on a ladder. Climb over each of these reasons and you’ll find yourself at your dream.

CONNECTION

For a Connection to your potential, replace “I can’t“ with…

“I can, just not right now.”

“I can, I’m just not there yet.”

“I can and I’m working on getting there.”

or

“I can and I’m on my way.”

Apply it

Our words and thoughts are powerful indicators in our behavior. They can hold us down or make us soar. Take “I can’t” out of your vocabulary if you want to live a full life of achievements.

KINDNESS

A graphic of two hearts floating up from a hand to represent Kindness, one of the four ROCK thru principles.

Reaching your full potential isn’t only about meeting your goals.
Be kind to others as you strive for success, unless being alone at the top is your goal.

Apply it

The way you meet your goals matters. As you work towards a goal day after day fear of not meeting that goal can drive us to do or say unkind things as a way to remove others as obstacles and ensure that we are successful. Resist this temptation as you don’t want to reach your goal with a heavy heart.
